By “your kind,” he of course means “you offworlders.” Aindanese natives call pretty much everybody not from their planet an “offworlder,” and don’t make much of a distinction beyond that.

Personally, I’m a fan of Rei’s halfsmile in the first panel <3 though the exaggerated animu faces are pretty great too 8)
This is why Nini doesn’t get invited to surprise parties.
